ARRAINA showcased at EC Bioeconomy Investment Summit

The European Commission recently held a high level Bioeconomy investment summit to better understand how to create a favourable environment in which to foster investment in this area. More than 400 participants gathered in Brussels on the 9-10 November to discuss how investment can bring progress and expand the European Bioeconomy. More than 20 EC funded projects were invited to both present their results in parallel sessions and to meet with attendees by participating in the Bioeconomy exhibition.

ARRAINA attended and showcased its key results as a prime example of the innovative European marine bioeconomy. ARRAINA was presented in the marine parallel session by its coordinator, Sadasivam Kaushik of INRA. The impressive results of the ARRAINA project were defined for the participants through the development of a key achievements booklet, which identified and clearly describes the key outputs of the project. A short video introducing the project was also created and added extra value to the ARRAINA stand. Over the course of the summit, ARRAINA garnered a significant amount of interest and attention. The ARRAINA presentation in pdf format can be found through the Bioeconomy summit website here
